Does Kim or anyone else here know if Lloyd should be doing that?

I am not a lawyer, but I've been through the court for family/child custody issues so many times I should have my own reserved seat.

I've had three different lawyers and all they told me the same thing. Do not talk to or communicate in any way with the other party unless it was regarding trivial matters such as pickup/dropoff times for the children. This prohibition also included making social media posts to the public about the case. Any emails or texts from the other party that were related to the case I was under instruction to forward them to my lawyer and let them answer if necessary.

If he hadn't made all those bold statements about "criminal defendants" and that people would be served papers shortly, this wouldn't have been such a big deal. It would have been just another civil suit thrown out. He didn't leave any doubt as to what he felt the outcome would be as evidenced in this tweet to Marc Latham in April of this year.

The "papers" will be great; let's see them. When pressed, he backtracks and says he doesn't owe them that either and repeats that they are criminal defendants. He should want everyone to see them if his case is that rock-solid. There's a reason why he won't release anything and I have a feeling we're about to find out why. Still doesn't stop him from shooting his mouth off though. He's never had to face consequences for anything. Growing up, within his marriage and with exJWs. Probably why he's so irate his Patrons went down, and are still going down even after the begging stunt.

This is going to be his own personal 1975. People read too much into his statements or mischaracterised them in order to slander him. But all the receipts are there. He fully expected everyone to be served and to face justice in a Sisak courtroom.

His "activism" is just an excuse to fundraise. He's a for-profit business, and it was always about the money

It’s difficult to imagine him doing anything in the secular world. 9-5, M-F, going into the office or hybrid. His last real job was when he was in the UK in 2009 and that sounded like low level office work. I’d look at his resume today and have real questions as to his qualifications and work ethic. The videos are up for everyone to see, and I just don’t see how making YT videos translates into a real job, especially when that’s all he has been doing for the past decade.

He’s trapped and he knows it. He has to do this for a living, and that’s why we’re likely to see another begging video in the near future.

There was something in the Tibor video that sounded bizarre to me when I first heard it and still does. At the end he says “thank you for taking my pay cheque”. What a thing to tell your right hand whom you are always name-checking and making t-shirts with his name on them and selling. His only thought was to remind everyone that he has to pay him, instead of thanking him for a job well done. He’s even credited as a co-producer on every video, but hey, thanks for taking my money!

Good catch and thanks for saving this, as he took these goals down for a good reason. He promised a lot at 82 patrons or $750 a month, so when he claimed he was losing money at 387 and having to borrow, that was a boldfaced lie. He claimed at 387 patrons, he would have to drop to 2 or 3 videos a month which would be a "tragedy" and how lives wouldn't be saved. But he had already promised 10 videos at 82 patrons!

Sure, he hired Tibor, but what was he doing with the rest of the money sourced from 300+ patrons he had gained since then?

It also shows that he didn't need Tibor for any of this, as he was making all his videos then without him. One could actually make the argument that his content has gotten worse since then.

What a scam.

The norm seems to be 26-30 Patron loss, with maybe a 5 patron gain during the month. At best he's netting -20 a month counting the small gains he makes.

He's already lost most of his bounce after the begging video. He was at 387 before, and it spiked to 596 for a gain of 209.

Now he's gone from 596 to 481 for a loss of 115 since late April. Assuming a net 20 patron loss every month, he'll be at 400 1 December.

I think it backfired. In exchange for a temporary spike in financial support, Lloyd just outted himself as a businessman. That's a label he can't backtrack on. All that talk about Ipsilon Media, making payroll, purchasing equipment and laying off Dijana and Tibor was not a good idea in the long term. Next time he begs he will really look pathetic.

And he still hasn't made the fucking documentary, nor has he met his promises of "growing the channel". He just took the money.

I don’t think there should be any problem finding her. Google “Cara Thailand” and you’ll come up with some juicy results.

No word on whether they will dress up as a hotel maid, but both have a penis. Open question on whether they have any mastery over them. If not, then Lloyd might have had to sit on a pillow for the flight back.

I love the people who come in here trying to be like, “you gossip like jws”. No we gossip like people in the real world. It’s just that many were brainwashed into thinking that all gossip is bad and isn’t normal.

Unsurprising, because Lloyd has been singing this talking point ever since being the biggest gossip (about himself) on the livestream. So you can be fairly certain that if one starts into the whole gossip and judgemental routine about exJWs, they've been listening to his sermons. Easiest way to spot a Cedarite.

Another easy way to spot a Cedarite is to hear their steadfast denials like Peter in the Temple courtyard. They'll deny being a supporter and cop to only enjoying his videos and thinking he does great work. But they are not a Lloyd supporter. They have their issues with him, but prefer to talk about the issues with you talking about him.

It's hilarious how that has evolved. Argue with one today and they will fully admit that what he did was wrong and will condemn him in varying degrees. But after the brief lip service to the misdeeds of Jabba the Hutt, they'll turn the spotlight so quickly upon YOU.

YOU are the one causing divisions and drama, not Lloyd. Not the guy who just yesterday is still calling people criminal defendants. That's what gave the last one away. Two sentences about Lloyd, and paragraphs about how we're the problem.

And as you still have not answered this question, we invite you to go to Lloyd and ask him to come to the table and apologize for his ten years of abuse. It all ends when Lloyd admits to his wrongdoing.

It’s why I asked her that, knowing she would never do such a thing because she knows the pushback she’d get from him.

It’s a relatively new Lloyd defense tactic - admit, and then deflect. She admitted to Lloyd’s poor behaviour, claimed she was put off by it, but immediately shot off several paragraphs about how she was even more offended by the reaction to it.

His few remaining defenders on Reddit and Twitter employ this tactic all the time because they know they are outnumbered. They spend way more time trying to set his critics straight than they do Lloyd, despite claiming to be equally offended by both sides of the issue.

We should adopt this strategy as well.

I know we are a bit harsh on him and such, but no one was killed. No seal cubs were bludgeoned by the hands of any Lloyd Evans JWN thread participant. We didn’t separate families. We didn’t nuke a kitten sanctuary.
